The first fund raiser of the year brought out some new and old faces as well as everyone’s charitable needs, by donating light used new and used towels for  United for Change.

Victory Place is a transitional home for formerly homeless Veterans. On the second Tuesday of every month, “United for Change”, a non-profit group, cooks and serves a meal to these men and women working so hard to turn their lives around. It is a pleasure for them to serve those that have served our country. Note:This month’s dinner is on Feb. 16th

This year they will be doing the February dinner at Victory Place on the 16th this month! , giving all the Standdown volunteers a little break and also make it a little closer to Valentine’s Day!

The menu will be bar-b-que beef or pork, cole slaw, baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad, desserts, etc.
